A: The PCM flash just flashes the computer with motor and trans changes. For the other things in the vehicle for your year, the GEM module needs to be programed with a scantool.

A: The PCM flash is only for the 7.3L trucks. A: Yes select M/T Swap and Excursion in the options.
Q: on the customer supplied pcm flash all i need is to have it flashed from auto to manual. im not real clear on what to select please help. thank you
A: Just select the tune HP that you want and select any of the options that apply like the auto to manual option.

Q: What is the "built trans" option on the 1997 7.3 ecm?
Also what is the turn around on the auto to manual pcm reprogram.
A: The built trans if for the trucks with an automatics trans that have a shift kit installed and or front pump modifications.
Q: when i pay for this flash from auto to manual trans, will you send a wiring diagram that shows what was changed and what the pins are going to after reprogramed?
A: I have never done the swap so I do not have the wiring diagrams.
Q: I bought a used Excursion and I'm not sure if the PCM was ever replaced. There's definitely some electrical weirdness going on; door lock polarity is swapped for only the driver and passenger doors, the rear hatch is ok. Could the PCM be the problem area? Is there a way to determine if the PCM was swapped and maybe doesn't hold the right program for my vehicle? I also could not get a tuner to connect as it said "unknown program installed" and would not load anything. Was thinking a stock flash may be a good idea to get back to a normal position to re-start trying to figure everything out. thanks
A: Ok and yes a stock flash would be a good starting point. Just place the order here for the stock flash and select the Excursion option which if for PATS.
Q: I have a dpc-312 that shorted and I wanna flash a dpc-202 to run splitshot injectors and just move the pins in the connector so I can run it in my 97 cali truck. If I do that how can I go about tuning the truck. I currently have a ts6 and wanna keep it if I can
A: ok and I can flash the DPC-202 with a custom tune for the injectors plus I will also need to flash the TS chip with custom tunes for the splitshot injectors.
