  • 1999.5-2003 High Flow Turbine Outlet (This item drop ships from Driven Diesel)

    This high flow turbine housing outlet replaces the factory Exhaust Backpressure Valve (EBV) outlet on 99-03 7.3L Powerstroke Diesel Turbos (except van turbos). Elimination of the EBV will improve flow, reduce exhaust backpressure and help to lower Exhaust Gas Temperatures. This outlet is approximately 3.25" ID compared to the stock outlet which is approximately 2.75" ID. This high flow outlet will directly bolt on to the factory 99-03 truck turbo, the Garrett GTP38R Ball Bearing turbo and any other "drop in" style turbo that will accept the stock outlet flange. *Pedestal o-rings are now included with the NON-EVB pedestal *A note from DP-Tuner: All Fuel systems upgrades are DROP SHIPPED from our supplier's warehouse. 7-10 day delivery delay should be expected due to this being a specialty item.     This Non-EBV Pedestal from Garrett is a great addition when using our High Flow Outlet or a "gutted" stock outlet. This direct bolt-in replacement for the factory pedestal will eliminate leaks from the EBV actuator assembly and works with the factory turbo, the Garrett GTP38R Ball Bearing turbo, and any other "drop in" style turbocharger. Note: This pedestal does not include new o-rings. We do HIGHLY RECOMMEND replacing the Pedestal O-Rings when installing a new pedestal. You will need 2 packs.     This 1.15 A/R Non-Wastegated Turbine Housing can be used with either a stock turbocharger or the Garrett GTP38R turbocharger. It replaces the stock turbine housing, eliminates the wastegate and reduces exhaust back pressure (as compared to the stock housing with the wastegate closed). This housing has been used to help control compressor surge and drop exhaust temperatures. This is best suited for vehicles pushing the performance limits of their turbocharger.     A Garrett exclusive ball bearing cartridge for unbeatable response, efficiency, and durability. Elimination of the thrust bearing eliminates failures at elevated boost levels. The GT compressor wheel provides 33% more flow than the stock. Ported shroud housing improves compressor flow range for surge control 1.00 A/R turbine housing for free flowing exhaust with reduced back pressure and up to 200° F reduction in exhaust gas temperature. Maximum recommended boost level is 40psi. We recommend this turbo for Stock and Stage One injectors only, if going larger than Stage One injectors or 400+ horsepower levels, we'd suggest the HFSB turbocharger system. Patented integral electro-hydraulic actuation and proportional solenoid for infinitely variable control. The larger compressor wheel over stock increases maximum power range while keeping turbo speeds down for the same power output. Supports up to an additional 175 HP over stock with no sacrifice in performance. Suitable as a performance upgrade or replacement for original equipment.
