The factory grid heater found under the intake manifold can be rather restrictive, especially in higher performance appliactions. With the use of the Banks Grid Heater Delete, better airflow and increased boost pressures can create better performance and efficiency. For those in colder climates, factory heater can be reinstalled at anytime to help cold starts during the winter months. Heater is not needed in warmer temperatures.
