Q: I have a late 99 Powerstroke and I want to wake it up. Does this also change the shift points for the transmission? I have heard that the tuner is "hard" on transmissions. I have a 6.4 with a Mini Maxx so I am used to tuners making power and I have left the trans setting alone and it works fine. Is there the option with your tuner to leave the transmission shift in the 'stock" mode? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks

A: Yes my custom tunes will highly modify the trans shift points among 1800 other trans parameters. I am the only tuner that does this so that your trans does not die. The shift points in the tow tunes are way different than the shift points in my daily tunes.

A: Yes, it will also work on the E450 with my custom tunes.

A: This is what I have available for the SCT tuners. Modified stock, 20hp tow, 40hp tow, 60hp tow, 80hp tow, 60hp daily, 80hp daily, 60hp daily mountains, 80hp daily mountains, 100hp performance, 120hp race, 140hp extreme, 140hp aggressive, low fuel, drag race, and sled pull. The tunes are all custom and not the pre-loaded ones. We drop ship the SCT tuners and then I write the tunes and email them to you. You use the SCT device updater to load them on the tuner.

A: Yes with my custom tunes it will work on your 1995 truck. We email you the custom tunes since we drop ship them from the closest warehouse to you. Then you just use the SCT device updater software to load the tunes on the tuner.

Q: My 2002 F350 7.3 has a 4 inch exhaust, ball bearing turbo and a Banks chip, tuner and transmission tuner. I intend to go to a stage two or three injector. It looks like I can order more tunes as I modify the motor in the future. Also I would like to read codes and do some tests with the X4? What is the difference between the X4 and the Livewire? Can you compare the X4 and Autoenginuity in the respect of code reading and performing certain tests.

A: Yes you can order more tunes later as the truck mods change. The livewire just allows you to have a nice 4 inch touchscreen for monitoring item versus the 1 inch on the X4. Both can read and clear codes, but they can't perform test like a buzz test that you can do with Forscan.

A: Yes you just plug it into the OBDII port and load a tune then put it in the glove box. Just make sure you order the custom tunes that match the vehicle mods and use.
