Custom Edge CTS3 7.3L Tunes

Tunes are emailed so no refunds will be given.  We will adjust the tunes per data given.

Step-by-Step Process

1. Get Your CTS3 Ready (If Needed):

• Download Edge's Update Agent software from their website and install it on your computer.

• Connect your CTS3 to the PC, run the Update Agent, and purchase the custom tuning license (unlocking it to an Insight+) if you haven't already.

2. Read Your Stock File:

• Plug your Insight+ CTS3 into your truck's OBD-II port and turn the ignition to the "Run" position (engine off).

• Navigate to the "Tune" section on the device and select the "Read Backup" or "Modify Stock" option to read your factory file.

• Follow prompts to save this backup file (often a .frd file) to your PC.

3. Send File to Tuner:

• Email the backup file to your chosen custom tuner.

4. Receive & Load Custom Tunes:

• After the tuner creates your custom files, they'll send them back to you (often via email).

• Connect your CTS3 to the PC again, open the device's drive, and drag-and-drop the new custom tune files onto the main drive (not into folders). Confirm the transfers.

5. Flash Your Truck:

• Unplug the CTS3 from the PC and take it to the truck.

• With ignition on (engine off), select "Tune" > "Custom Tuning" on the device.

Select your new custom tune file and follow the on-screen prompts to flash it to the PCM.
