Warranty-
Our DP-Tuner branded products carry a lifetime manufactures defect warranty. For all SCT units we honor SCT's product warranty guidelnes. www.sctflash.com
Destroyed product due to either misuse or improper installations are not covered under our manufactures defect warranty. A reduced fee for replacement product will be offered.
Product satisfaction returns guidlines-
All returns for refund must be in the original condition to return for credit or refund. The original receipt must accompany the returned items. Our return policy is for product satisfaction.(*) We give 100% of the original purchase price for product satisfaction if received within 30 business days of the order minus the shipping cost. Shipping can not be refunded or credited. We charge a 15% restocking fee for all orders that are 30-60 days old or returned damaged. For over 60 days we will not issue a refund. We charge a $50 relicensing fee for all F6 Smartchips that are returned for a refund or purchased used. Please email us at diane@dp-tuner.com if you plan on returning you chip for credit or refund. All refunds will be issued promptly upon receiving the returned items.
If you are returning your chip for a reburn because you have modified your truck with new modifications that require new tunes, there will be a charge of $30 per performance tune to reburn your chip. This is the difference between standard and custom tunes.
If you are returning your F5 or F8 chip to be reburned for a different code, and you are the original owner of the chip, but wish to keep the same tunes, we charge a flat fee of $25 to reburn the chip and shipping cost back to you. For previous customers to return their F6 to be burned to a different truck code and keep thier same tunes, there is a $25 relicensing fee.

*Fuel gains expectations are exempt from the Product Saitsfaction return policy. Installation of our product easy. This policy is for Aesthetics of product and overall drivability of the vehicle. Fuel gains ARE NOT guaranteed.
Product Reburn information and cost -
For previous customers who have the F5, F6 or SCT units and you would like updated tunes it is always FREE. When sending the F8 or F5 back all you need to do is pay for returning shipping. For previous customers with chips over the 30 days grace period, when you send your chip in to have it reburned to a different PCM code or transmission or valve body your cost is only $25 plus return shipping. If you modify your truck with modifications that require new custom tunes the charges are $30 per each performance tune plus return shipping. When you purchase the truck modifications through us your tunes are updated for the new mods at no cost. All you need to do is cover shipping both ways.
Chips purchased used that are sent in for reprogramming to a new PCM code its a flat fee of $50 to reburn the chip plus return shipping. For different modifications its $25 per each performance tune plus return shipping. We do not refund for tunes flashed on a customer supplied PCM. We will not reburn other manufacturers chips. To read chips purchased used for a list of tunes on the chip it is a $45 charge.
Below are the instructions for what you need to do prior to sending the chip back for a reburn-
Create a Helpdesk ticket for the reburn and supply your payment info to help speedup the re-burn processing.
Here are the steps in creating a help desk ticket and returning a chip or PCM for a reburn, adding tunes, adjustments, etc.
You have to have an account with us on the website and sign in to do this. If you do not have an account, go the website and click on Log In and Create New Account and fill out all the info to create an account and then you will be logged in. Once logged in,
Go to WARRANTY & PRODUCT RE-BURNS
Click on HELPDESK TICKET above
In the Priority box select “To Do”
In the Title box put name followed by the words “Chip Reburn”
In the Department box select “Warranty/Product Return for Reburns”
In the Message box type in:
- Credit card info with number, expiration date and 3 digit code on back of card
- Indicate type of return shipping you want, UPS Ground, USPS Priority 2-3 Mail or UPS Overnight or whatever you may want to be used
- Full Name and address (address must match address of credit card used
- PCM code of the truck the chip is being re-burned for and going in
- List work to be done and info needed
After that is complete click on Submit Ticket.
Now, print off the Product Re-burn Form and put in box with the chip and ship to us at the address on the form.
