We recommend following the venue that others have done before. We let you arrange the event so you are in control of the outcome. You tell us when and where. Advertising the event is at the discretion of the person or group in charge of organizing the live tuning event.
Q: What do I need to do?
A: First you need to see is how many other Ford 7.3, 6.0 or 6.4 diesel truck owners are interested in having Jody do live tuning on their trucks in your area. Posting on the forums have been what most people have done.
Q: When can I do this?
A: Jody can do this one time a month January through October preferably over a long weekend. He takes November and December off.
Q: How many trucks are required for live tuning?
A: It is preferred to have at least 10-15; equaling 3-4 a day.
Q: What is the cost?
A: The cost for live tuning starting January 2009 will be $550 per person. If you travel to Jody it is the previous cost of $450 per person.
Q: What will this price get me?
A: Not all trucks will require extensive live tuning. Some truck that are modified more than others may take longer.You will receive 3-4 hours of Jodys undivided attention to your truck and your tuning needs. All things you want to change he can do while you are driving. He can make changes instantly and then save that information to be burned on your chip. All tunes are included whether you have him work on 1 or 16.
Q: I don’t currently have a DP-Tuner chip. Do I need to get one prior to live tuning?
A: You can purchase a chip at any time. You can always try Jody's standard tunes and then decide later what you would really want done. If you wait to get one at the live tuning event, you will only be charged for the price of the hardware.
Q: What is the cost if I host an event?
A: Hosting an event is simple if done correctly. We have many customers who have hosted an event very successfully at their location. I can provide you contact informatin of one of our cusotmer's who has a great system to go by when planning and hosting a live tuning event.
1) First of all you need 8 or more trucks to ensure airfare is covered. Jody prefers 3-4 trucks a day to allow quailty time with each customer. 10 for a weekend is a good number and you can take standby's if need be. this is incase an unforeseen issue arrises with one or more people not able to have live tuning on that weekend.
2) You handle everything from all promotion of the live tuning event on the forums when Jody will be there. Emailing, pming or calling those who want live tuning and collecting payments.You are in contol when it starts and when it ends. You are responsible for arranging Jody's boarding and transportation to and from the airport. Most people just have Jody stay at their place for convenience.
3) When following this venue you will recieve 50% off your live tuning.

Total payment for live tuning must be received 2 months before the live tuning date. At that time Jody’s airfare or travel arrangements will be made.
